This site was originally launched in 2001 with the domain of honortheflag.net. to build a community dedicated to educating our fellow citizens about the customs, courtesies and established statutes for Old Glory.

Having developed a reputation among my friend and within my community as the guy who will stop the car any time I see a flag flown improperly to notify and educate the owner, I felt it important to provide the means to both spread the word and document those who fail to heed national customs and courtesies for the proper display of our beloved flag.

It is, in my opinion, the patriotic duty of every citizen to uphold the customs and courtesies of our national flag.
